Matt's research interests

My resarch interests are the use of AI to support collaborative learning, and also the development of direct manipulation interfaces to support the learning of creative domains (such as music composition) by novices.

Matt's technical interests

Curently I'm working on the integration of the following for some cool 3D interactive 'serious' games:

• 3D computer games created using
  Unity
• human motion capture and use for computer animated models, created using
  Unity
  Microsoft Kinect
  ipisoft
  Blender
• large scale, robust PHP-database driven websites based around the Symfony 5 framework
• richly interactive websites, using PHP, JQuery, Goole Maps and AJAX

Matt's personal interests

In May 2011 I took up Taekwon-Do (got my black belt in 2015). I run the website for the Maynooth Taekwon-Do School
